NOTE: This model was in the Oval Office when JFK was assassinated; and was in James Brady's office when he was shot. After the Brady incident the White House requested that the model be removed and it was placed in the National Museum of the U.S. Navy.

One of only three parts of CV-6 to remain. The stern nameplate is in River Vale, NJ's Veteran's Park, and the Ship's Bell is in front of Bancroft Hall at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
