The XB-15 bombardment airplane is a development of the Boeing Aircraft Company This airplane is a four-engine, all metal monoplane, built to meet the requirements of a multi-engine bombardment type airplane for the Air Corps, U. S. Army.
The XB-15 airplane is an experimental airplane and has already been subjected to various flight tests. It is now being assigned for service test and information gained from and during service test will be utilized in the event of procurement of future airplanes of this type. Desirable features of this airplane should be commented upon as freely as any deficiencies in regard to general type and specific detail. The service test should be expedited, as much as possible, so that any further procurement can incorporate all the changes found necessary from tactical and service use.
